Wednesday 9th May 2018 at 7.30pm in the Meadow Rooms, The Street, Cobham, Kent DA12 3BZ sees the latest in the Cobham Gardeners' 2018 programme of expert speaker talks when Su Rowe, for many years a judge at Cobham Gardeners' shows for flower arrangements, cakes, preserves and photographic entries, will explain what she looks for and presents a flower arrangement demonstration – which will then be donated as a raffle prize. The road will be closed outside “Oldlands Barn”. The alternative route is via Batts Road, Henley Street and vice versa. The closure is to enable water connections to be carried out by Southern Water Services KENT COUNTY COUNCIL
The Street, Cobham TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Section 14 (2) as amended by The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 Kent County Council gives notice that The Street, Cobham will be closed to through traffic, on or after 20 March 2018 for up to 6 Days. The road will be closed outside the Leather Bottle. The alternative route is via Jeskyns Road - Henhurst Road - Valley Drive - Old Road East - A226 Rochester Road - Thong Lane - Halfpence Lane. The closure is necessary to enable repairs to a faulty cable to be carried out by UK Power Networks. This Notice applies when the relevant signs and barriers are on site, and is valid for a period of no more than 21 days. |
